Capistrello. Dozens of illegal landfills containing household waste along roads and trails and special Palentini Plans. The area, the famous battle of Tagliacozzo in 1268, is now a large open dump that houses abandoned appliances, industrial materials and simple trash. The plain is not new to such havoc. For years now, the committee plans Palentini combat anti-social behavior of some citizens in 2008 and came into conflict with a company on a project to build a megadiscarica inside the area and succeeded in changing the company's plans for disposal waste. The vastness of plans makes efforts to take action against the landfill more difficult and requires coordination between the municipalities concerned. Among the more aware of the situation and ready to intervene is the City of Capistrello, which on Jan. 14 approved a measure in this regard and has set up a table together with inter-municipal police, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza and the traffic police to investigate a intervention plan and the repression of the phenomenon and then move to reclaim the area. "We understand the criticality of the situation," confirms the Mayor Anthony Lusi , "and for this we want to move as expeditiously as possible. Next week there will be a first update with the commanders of all police and hope that the teamwork that we will strive to make their efforts pay off. "
